Memorial to popular musician
Two hundred followers of the Manx live music scene are due to pack the Manx Legion club tonight, for a musical tribute to a popular local artist who died in December.
A five hour gig featuring current bands and singers will perform at the event, in memory of guitarist, music teacher, poet and story-teller John Callister - or JC as he was known.
He lost a battle with cancer at the end of last year, his death prompting many tributes to his wide appeal across the generations.
A number of tickets are still available - doors open at the Legion club in Market Hill in Douglas at 6.30pm and the evening starts at 7pm.
