Water quality needs to be restored at Douglas sporting facility
The leisure pool – and flumes – at the National Sports Centre remain closed today (18 January) following a ‘contamination incident’.
It happened at the Douglas facility yesterday.
Government says steps are being taken to clean the pool and ensure the water quality is restored to the highest safety standards.
A spokesperson said: "We appreciate the understanding of our customers as we take these precautionary measures to ensure public health and safety."
The main swimming pool will be open as usual.
