Lezayre Commissioners are holding an open afternoon for residents to see the proposals for the boundary extension.
The drop in will start at 12 noon on the 19th July and people living in Maughold are invited to attend.
This will take place at the Sulby Community Hall on Clenagh Road.
Garff Commissioners is also displaying information and documentation at its offices on New Road.
Ramsey Commissioners is looking to expand into these two areas because it believes the town is at 'capacity'.
It is the view of the Commissioners that the current boundary is a natural one between town and country and that it would be a retrograde step to tamper with this demarcation.
