Police thank motorists for patience
Lezayre Road in Ramsey has re-opened after a fallen tree blocked it off to traffic.
It came down near to the War Memorial at Churchtown earlier this morning, leading to a police warning that it could be closed for 'the rest of the day'.
Department of Infrastructure workers were called to clear the site between Parliament Square, Ramsey and the junction with St Judes Road at Sulby Bridge.
Light vehicle drivers were diverted through the Churchtown Loop Road - but the byway is now fully open and operational again.
