Police release information
The woman who died in a car crash in the north of the Island on Monday evening has been named by police.
She was 27-year-old Laura Kinrade of Jurby.
She leaves two young children, who were in the car with her and received minor injuries.
The crash happened on the Lezayre Road, near the junction with the Churchtown Loop Road, at about 6.30pm.
She was driving towards Sulby when she lost control of the vehicle, which collided with a tree before coming to rest in the road.
No other vehicles were involved.
The police say they have had several helpful calls from members of the public and are starting to build a picture of what occurred.
Officers have revisited the scene and say they were moved to see several tributes laid there, to a young lady who was clearly much loved and will be missed by many.
The police are continuing to appeal for information.
If you think you have anything that might help call police headquarters on 631212 and leave a message for PC Pete Dyer of the Roads Policing Unit.
