Isle of Pride member says prejudice is no longer tolerated
Members of the LGBTQ+ community on the Isle of Man no longer tolerate being victims.
That's from Zoe Bennett of Isle of Pride following an apology by Chief Minister Howard Quayle at this week's House of Keys siting to those convicted of homosexual activity prior to a law change in 1994.
He also called for the whole community to challenge prejudice and ignorance.
Ms Bennett believes people are now more prepared to speak out:
