Public welcome to attend annual general meeting
An Island political party will mark its 10th year today (Sunday).
Lib Van is holding its 10th conference and annual general meeting at South Douglas Old Friends Club.
Formed in August 2006 as the Liberal Vannin Party, the gathering starts at 10.30 with coffee available from 10 o’clock.
As well as the appointment of officers and voting on motions, there’ll be presentations about direct democracy and financial matters from a younger perspective.
Members of the public are welcome to attend.
