Party wants legislation brought in sooner
Liberal Vannin says it's dismayed that legislation to address housing needs on the Island and make it a statutory requirement won't come into force until 2029.
Party Chair Paul Weatherall says they welcome Tynwald's approval of the Housing and Community Board's homelessness strategy, and applaud the inclusion of the Salvation Army, Housing Matters and Praxis Care as strategic partners.
But he's appealing to all those involved in the initiative to re-assess the timescale, or at least introduce a Homelessness Act before the end of the current administration:
