New digital initiative introduced
A local library has given 24-hour access to books and literary material, by going digital.
Henry Bloom Noble Library has introduced the virtual scheme as part of 'National Libraries Week' - an annual event celebrating one of our oldest community services, which begins today.
Members will be able to gain full access to the library through eBooks, online reading journals and mobile apps.
Head Librarian Jan Macartney, says the scheme is designed to help people who can't always get to the building:

Plan for future of Hospice to be brought forward 'during this administration'
Online gambling sector subject to more 'rigorous scrutiny' than ever before
Plans to create a 'people's mandate' for prospective election candidates
Open Farm event inspires next generation of Manx farmers
Amendments to Assisted Dying Bill approved by Tynwald
