Party wants fast action to legalise medicinal cannabis
The Liberal Vannin party is calling on ministers to bring forward legislation to legalise medicinal cannabis 'as soon as possible.'
Group Chair Paul Weatherall has been reacting to the Tynwald vote, which approved a licensing system for growing cannabis on the Island.
It's means government can develop an export market, but it won't be made available for medicinal use here.
Mr Weatherall says there needs to be fast action to progress this:
Mountain Road to stay closed overnight
BMA finds less than a quarter of doctors recommend working at Manx Care
Thirteen people entered or tried to enter the Island without immigration permission since January 2025
Abuse towards bus drivers 'will not be tolerated'
