A political party on the Isle of Man is calling for an all-Island leisure rate to ensure access to recreational services is 'fair and even'.
Liberal Vannin wants government to implement the idea as a means to secure funding for the three regional swimming pools and the National Sports Centre.
It comes after the Department of Education Sport and Culture backtracked on plans to recommend the closure of the Southern Swimming Pool due to financial reasons.
Chairman Paul Weatherall told Manx Radio it's a suggestion they've been pushing for years:
