The Lieutenant Governor will be among marshals on the TT course this year.
Government House has confirmed Sir John Lorimer, and his wife Lady Lorimer, have completed their training.
In a social media post a spokesperson said: "Although the Isle of Man TT is just around the corner there is still time for anyone who would like to marshal on the course to register with the TT Marshals Association and undergo training.
"His Excellency and Lady Lorimer recently completed their online TT Marshal training, and are looking forward to volunteering over the festival."
