January deadline for chance to work on overseas aid project
Adventurous young Manx people are being invited to apply for a chance to work on aid projects overseas.
The Karsons Family Foundation is offering to sponosor an Island youngster aged between 18-24, to travel to either Rwanda, Malawi or Peru and work on Quest Overseas' ethical volunteering programme.
Previous volunteers Lucy Johnson and Emily Stephens, both from Ramsey Grammar School, described their time in Malawi as a 'life-changing experience'.
Applicants should apply by the 20th of January 2017 and will be expected to raise £500 towards their costs.
