Port St Mary Lifeboat was launched at about 4.30pm today to go to the aid of a boat which had broken down.
The 15ft vessel had lost power at the Sound.
By the time the lifeboat got there the five people on board had managed to get it going again themselves, so ther lifeboat escorted it back to port.
