Group of 12 call 999 for help
Peel Lifeboat was called out last night to assist paddle boarders who drifted out to sea.
The group of 12 had called 999 to ask for help after getting into difficulty near Glen Wyllin.
The lifeboat launched just before 11pm but was stood down when the paddle boarders managed to make their own way to safety.
The RNLI is reminding people to be prepared if they're on the water by carrying a means of calling for help, telling others of their plans and checking the tide times.
