Vessel in trouble after propeller became fouled
Douglas lifeboat was called out this morning (Wed 27) after a fishing boat got into difficulties in the bay.
The alarm was raised at 6.35am after the boat's propeller became fouled on a rope.
The all-weather lifeboat Sir William Hillary was launched to tow the vessel back to its berth in Douglas harbour.
No-one was injured and the lifeboat was back on station, ready for service again by 7.30am
