Lifeboats in the West and North were called into action yesterday afternoon to tow pleasure vessels into harbour.
Peel lifeboat went to the aid of a 32 foot yacht with two crew at 4.30pm after its engines overheated.
Half an hour later, Ramsey’s lifeboat launched when a pleasure craft just off Ramsey Harbour broke down.
The crew towed the local vessel back to harbour along with its single crew member.
Nobody was hurt in either incident.
