Big entry for around Island sportive
Around 400 cyclists are expected to take part in today's Lighthouses Challenge (10 July).
The Grand Depart is from the Grandstand at 8am.
Competitors will be under police escort down Bray Hill, along Peel Road and South Quay until they get to Marine Drive.
Organiser Steve Shimmin says the origins of the sportive event go back to another era in Manx cycling:
