New film to put issue under spotlight
One in four people is affected by mental health but the issue remains somewhat hushed with a taboo status.
Alex Maxwell's new film 'I'll' strives to normalise the discussion.
New production company Glass Line Media is aiming to stop mental health from being swept under the carpet.
The film will combat issues of loneliness, isolation and loss as it follows the story of Finn, a young man living on an unpopulated island with his cat.
'I'll' has already generated funding and support from the Isle of Man Arts Council and Utmost Wealth Solutions and is set to be shown locally, as well as at short film festivals worldwide.
