Police say a campaign to tackle drivers whose lights aren’t working in the run-up to Christmas has already found 88 vehicles with defects.
Checks at the Ramsey Hairpin and Glencrutchery Road in Douglas earlier this week found 58 vehicles with faulty lights.
Last night, more drivers were stopped at the Villa Marina – and officers discovered another 30.
The Roads Policing Unit is urging people to check their lights before they set off now that nights are darker.
