Manx Breast Cancer Support Group says it's 'really pleased'
The patient quiet lounge at Liverpool John Lennon Airport will now be staying in its temporary location permanently.
Funded by the Manx Breast Cancer Support Group, since 2017, the facility is a place where those travelling to and from the UK for treatment can sit privately whilst waiting for their flights back to the Island.
It's been in its current home near security since the end of last year, after its future had been put in doubt by the airport's refurbishment plans.
It was saved days later though after backlash from the public.
Julie Stokes from the charity says it's a great outcome for a much-needed resource:
Three-month wait for state pension forecast statements
OFT to investigate possible regulation of funeral directors
"One of the Island's foremost champions of Manx heritage" to receive Tynwald Honour
No timeline yet for reinstatement of rehab service to north
Venezuela Fury & Noah Price wedding "a true showcase of the breadth and quality of Manx services"
