Forty-two-year-old intended to supply almost £2,000 worth of cocaine
A man from Merseyside will be sentenced at the Court of General Gaol Delivery after admitting having £1,900 worth of cocaine to supply.
Forty-two-year-old Michael Stephen Clohessy, of Roxburgh Street in Liverpool, appeared before High Bailiff Jayne Hughes at Douglas courthouse.
He admitted possessing 18.6 grammes of the class A drug with intent to supply it on 3 January on Queen’s Promenade in Douglas.
Mrs Hughes declined jurisdiction, saying her sentencing powers were insufficient to deal with the case.
Clohessy was committed to a Court of General Gaol Delivery, where he’ll appear on 17 January, and was remanded in custody.
