Route to connect Manannan passengers with city centre
A daily bus service connecting Liverpool city centre and the Isle of Man Ferry Terminal in the city is restarting from today (13 April).
The Steam Packet Company says it's been informed the route is being made available again and will be operated by Al's Coaches.
The service will begin two hours before the Manannan's departure and complete two laps of its route before waiting at the terminal itself.
The route itself will start at Skelhorne Street; stop at Liverpool Lime Street train station then Liverpool One Bus Station before heading to the terminal.
The company further adds the bus will complete one full circuit, return to the terminal and wait for the inbound Manannan sailing.
Once all foot passengers have disembarked the service will depart again.
Using the bus will cost £2 payable when getting on as the service cannot be pre-booked.
Furthermore, the Steam Packet says this will run for every sailing to Liverpool and there is 'no need to worry about schedules.'
