Ground-breaking ceremony commences construction
Following the Manx government's purchase of the Steam Packet, buying the site for the new Liverpool landing stage was the logical thing to do.
That's the view of Chief Minister Howard Quayle, who was speaking after the ground-breaking ceremony took place on Merseyside yesterday.
The £38 million project is due to be completed by summer next year.
