Two gov't departments will look at 'regional sports hubs' concept
A Rushen MHK says local authority involvement in running regional pools and sports facilities remains crucial.
Tynwald has agreed that the DESC and DOI will work on a plan to develop 'regional sports hubs' incorporating swimming and other sports activities.
Both departments will report back to Tynwald in October on how this initiative could work.
