Manx Carriage Driving 4 Disabled seeks financial aid
A local charity, dedicated to providing therapy to people with disabilities, is turning to the public for help after having to close.
Manx Carriage Driving 4 Disabled aims to help boost the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of disabled people through horse and carriage rides.
The charity, which has two horses that support fifty drivers, is the latest on-Island organisation forced to shut down due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Group Organiser for Manx Carriage, Liz Lille, is pleading the local community to help by donating what you can to keep the charity running.
Two pounds will feed a horse for the day, £10 will provide bedding for a horse for a week, and £60 pays for a horse's ferrier fees.
