Technology to be on display at exhibition
An on-Island Virtual Reality developer is looking to use the technology to help dementia patients.
Prompted by family members who have experienced extended stays in nursing homes, Jonathan Teare has been combining 360 photography with VR to give people a taste of freedom that they might not otherwise have.
A Virtual Reality exhibition will be held at the Grand Union Camera Obscura on Douglas Head on 20 and 21 February, to raise money for Alzheimer's Society IOM.
People will be able to experience the technology between midday and 2pm on both days.
