Island beauty inspires Everest trek
A new resident on the Island is trekking to Everest Base Camp in aid of Manx Wildlife Trust.
Kai Botha, the digital marketing manager at Capital International Group, relocated here 10 months ago.
In awe of the Island's natural beauty, Kai has been inspired to celebrate it by raising money to ensure our nature reserves are protected.
Over ten days from the 3rd December, Kai will be covering a distance of 150 kilometres and reach an altitude of 17,600 feet.
He aims to raise £1000, along with awareness for conversation charity, Manx Wildlife Trust.
If you would like to contribute, you can do so at Kai's justgiving page.
