He becomes one of the oldest people living on the Island
A man living on the Isle of Man recently turned 106 years old.
Jim Parkes, who resides at Southlands Care Home in Port Erin reached the Milestone yesterday (19 September).
Born in London where he lived for most of his life, he served in the Royal Air Force during World War 2.
After the passing of his wife in 2015, he moved to the Island to live with his son.
