Development grants part of Food Matters strategy
Local food and drink producers could be eligible for a helping hand from government, in a bid to help them expand.
Food Business Development Manager Andrew Lees says it's all part of the strategy to help grow the sector by £50m by 2025.
Development grants are being offered to firms said to be actively helping home-grown produce.
Mr Lees believes the incentive will help DEFA achieve its targets.
