Yesterday it emerged the UK operator would no longer include the Isle of Man in its free talktime on contracts – dismaying Manx expats who are trapped in contracts.
O2 blamed higher operator costs here, but both of the Island's mobile phone networks say the cost of terminating a UK call hasn’t risen.
Both Sure and Manx Telecom say they expect the costs to come down in the near future.
