
A Castletown woman says she endured a desperate five days after losing contact with her family in one of the areas worst affected by Typhoon Haiyan.
Angie Harris lost contact with her mother a week ago as the storm began and only yesterday (Wed) had word family members had survived, despite losing their home and belongings.
The current death toll stands at 2,300 people with more than half a million displaced.
Angie says her family crawled to safety.
