Daughter had operation at just four weeks of age
A local woman, whose baby was born with a very rare heart defect, is holding a special party to celebrate her life - and raise funds.
Emily Cattle's little girl Catherine was born last November with a heart condition known as Tetralogy of Fallots, which affects just four in every 10,000 babies.
After early diagnosis on the Island, Catherine underwent a successful operation at Alder Hey at just four weeks old, the earliest age at which surgeons had ever carried out such a procedure.
She's now healthy and happy and Emily is wanting to hold a special "pink" party to raise funds for Alder Hey and the British Heart Foundation: (play audio)
