The efforts of those who have helped during a tough TT have been praised by Department of Economic Development's member with responsibility for motorsport.
Poor weather, and problems with the Ben-my-Chree, spurred many locals on to help out where they could, offering beds and washing facilities to soggy and stranded bikers.
