Council says Sunday's walk will now begin at the Broadway Slip
Anyone looking to take part in this weekend's Tower of Refuge Walk will now have to enter the beach from Broadway as the steps on Loch Promenade have been deemed unsafe for public use.
Douglas City Council says the stairs, which aren't owned by the local authority, will be locked after the Department of Infrastructure found them to be unsafe.
The walk will now commence from the Broadway Slip at 5.45pm on Sunday.
Those taking part are urged to wear appropriate footwear as Conister Rock and the causeway can be uneven and slippery.
