Area has been allowed to return to natural state after prom refurb
The so-called wild flower corridor, which occupies an area between the Loch promenade parking area and the sunken gardens, is to be cut and tidied up.
The work will be done in time for the TT Festival, the Department of Infrastructure has confirmed.
The appearance of the area has attracted criticism after it was allowed to return to its natural state on completion of the promenade scheme.
The corridor, currently a mix of long grass, weeds and wild flowers, would be the chosen route should the horse tram tracks eventually be extended to the Sea Terminal.
