Manx network celebrates International Yoga Day
Today is International Yoga Day, and a local teacher says lockdown has seen new people taking up the discipline on the Isle of Man.
The Isle of Man Yoga Network has celebrated the day by creating a video, with a sequence for enthusiasts to follow in their own chosen location.
Heidi Danaher says now's a great time to give it a go:
Chairman of the Isle of Man Yoga Network, Sue Woolley, said:
"Sunday, 21 June is International Yoga Day and we, the IOM Yoga Network, invite you to join us in celebrating the occasion.
"To do this, we have put together a beautiful video, with a yoga sequence you can follow in your own chosen location.
"It has been a team effort and our aim has been to present yoga for what it truly is – a holistic practice for everyone.
"Rarely has this message been more important than at the present time.
"So, breathe, stretch, smile and enjoy!"
