 
                            Last DIY SOS push for 'BallaLockie'
It's just weeks now until Lockie Kirk returns to the Isle of Man.
His father Daniel has confirmed to Manx Radio that the 20-year-old, who has been receiving treatment at a rehab centre following a road traffic incident in 2022, is doing well and excited to return home.
More than £33,000 has been raised so far to support the Kirk family with travel and accommodation costs.
The money has enabled his father Dan to take 18-months off work to support Lockie from the UK – whilst his mother has travelled at weekends.
Donations have also paid for accommodation, food, trips out and equipment to make the teenager’s life easier.

In preparation for his return, the family has launched one last call for help with work outside the property to be done and for the installation of a ramp that Lockie can use to enter and exit the home in his wheelchair.
