
Travellers who want to ensure the Island retains air links with London City are being urged to get behind BA's route to the capital.
Today's TravelWatch meeting in Douglas has heard about future prospects for the route from two guest speakers, the general manager of BA City Flyer Luke Hayhoe and London's City Airport's sales director Bernard Lavelle.
Both told the audience at the Villa Marina the route may struggle to remain viable unless more passengers use it.
Marketing campaigns to promote the service to business and leisure travellers are in the pipeline.
