Car park had been used as border control area during Covid restrictions
Parade Street East was closed in June last year so those arriving on Island at the Sea Terminal could have their coronavirus vaccination status checked.
Border check facilities have now been removed from Parade Street, and line marking carried out in preparation for it to reopen as a car park.
The Department of Infrastructure has been using the privately-owned former Lord Street Bus Station site as a car park instead, but parking won't be available at that site from today.
