Five hundred and seventy-nine people registered
Unemployment in December 2016 was at its lowest level for the month for ten years.
Figures released by the Cabinet Office show there were 579 people registered as unemployed last month.
That's a rate of 1.3% and 282 fewer than there were in December 2015, but six people more than there were in November last year.
Sixty-nine per cent of those registered were men.
Medical and health services was the sector with the most vacancies, with 63 jobs available.
