Campaigner, Juan Corlett, pops the question
At the worst points of his illness with ME, Manxman Juan Corlett didn't leave the house for 41 days.
With his energy levels seriously affected, even making it to the end of his driveway was significant.
But back in 2018, before his condition deteriorated, Juan was able to walk to the top of Peel Hill and stand proudly atop Corrin's Folly with girlfriend Becky Bannister - something he's been hoping to repeat ever since.

M.E. (Myalgic Encephalomyelitis/chronic fatigue syndrome) is a post-viral condition, which can often see sufferers confined to their beds.
