The facility will be closed on Sunday and Monday
The Northern Civic Amenity Site is closed today and tomorrow (18 and 19 February).
It comes as its compactor suffered a malfunction preventing the facility from being able to process the skips.
Alternative arrangements are understood to be in the works.
The facility has apologised for inconvenience, and hopes to provide an update in due course.
