'Azamara Pursuit' to call into Douglas
A cruise liner is set to drop anchor in Manx waters, as it embarks on its maiden voyage.
The newly refurbished 'Azamara Pursuit' will call into Douglas bay on Wednesday, (25 July) before sailing off for the Norwegian fjords.
Operated by Azamara Club Cruises, the 180m-long vessel will be carrying 710 passengers and 395 crew.
The visit will also see the return of Manxman Captain Carl Smith, as he skippers the ship into familiar territory.
Plans for 2019 so far, will see the Island have 37 cruise calls.
