
A restaurant and bar in Douglas has closed.
The Mailbox Lounge Bar and Grill, based on the site of the old Post Office headquarters on Circular Road, shut yesterday afternoon after directors were unable to sell the business as a going concern to potential new investors.
They say they were left with no alternative and will be contacting all customers who have made Christmas bookings with them.
A creditors meeting will take place on December 3.
