Staff tested in simulation
An emergency preparedness exercise took place at Noble's Hospital on Friday (4 May).
Over a hundred medical staff, on call and off duty participated in the operation at the Keyll Darree Medical Education Centre.
The disaster plan was designed to overwhelm the hospital and stress test departments during a major incident.
The scenario simulated a motorcycle crash into a crowd of spectators, presenting the hospital with a considerable number of casualties.
Martin Hamm, Nurse Consultant for Emergency Care, commended the benefits of the exercise: -
