Major rainforest project unveiled by MWT

It's seven times larger than the trust's next biggest nature reserve. 

An ambitious project to restore a large area of rainforest in the north of the Island has been unveiled following its acquisition by the Manx Wildlife Trust.

The area in Glen Auldyn covers 1,124 acres - of which 750 acres is suitable for rainforest habitat - and is seven times larger than the Trust's next biggest nature reserve. 

The purchase has been made possible by funding from Aviva through its partnership with the wildlife trust in the UK and its rainforest recovery programme.
