Approval of a new Justice Reform Bill on the Isle of Man is another step towards reform of the criminal justice system.
Last week the House of Keys voted unanimously to accept amendments made by the Legislative Council:
Douglas East MHK Clare Barber moved the bill which addresses out of date processes, encourages early intervention and seeks diversion away from the court system.
It was seconded by Home Affairs Minister Graham Cregeen:
Man who launched attack on van driver sentenced
RNLI's last serving Mersey class boat visits the Island
Double victory for Island's heritage railways
Demolition work to get underway on Douglas high street site
Pan-Island Skills Test returns to the Isle of Man
