Tenants need more certainty
Means testing for public sector housing needs to be a higher government priority, so says an MHK.
North Douglas member David Ashford believes moves to introduce the system are not moving ahead quickly enough.
Initial plans to do so were put on hold three years ago after the Department of Health and Social Care discovered it didn’t have the legislative power.
Mr Ashford says tenants need more certainty.
