Advice issued ahead of bonfire night
Those planning a fire on bonfire night are being urged to make sure what they burn is safe and legal.
Burning plastics, treated wood and rubber can release toxic smoke, and those found to be burning household, commercial or industrial waste risk prosecution.
Anyone organising a bonfire should notify the emergency services joint control room, and check for hedgehogs and other small animals before lighting the fire.
More information on what can and can't be burned can be found on the government's website.
